Online e-learning for the theory must be completed before you can proceed to
the in-person practical training

Online training:
This multi-module online course will cover all you need to know to be able to
offer CryoPen treatment confidently and safely in your clinic.

From anatomy and physiology of the skin to treatment protocols and
contraindications, the course is jam-packed with information and hint and tips!

All above learning resources must be completed before the online test is
attempted.

Module 1- Health and safety; Sterilization and hygiene
Module 2 – Skin Anatomy and Physiology;
Module 3 – Cryosurgery
DURATION – 5 hours + test time
CERTIFICATE – ABT Online Accredited certificate issued after course

Practical Training Overview
What To Expect

Once online theory training is completed, practitioners can get in touch to book a practical session at one of our training centres.

The CryoPen practical training will be a hands-on session, using the knowledge you learned during the online training.

Practical sessions are carried out in small groups to ensure that each practitioner gets the correct amount of training and hands-on experience.

The practical aspect of the training is carried out by a member of our training team who are all experienced in CryoPen Cryosurgery and all use the device in their own clinics.

The 3 hour session will cover:

An overview of the online training
Health & Safety
CryoPen Consultation
Pre-Treatment Advice and Considerations
Loading the cartridges into the device
Hands on practical training (on a live model)
Treatment Protocols
Post Treatment Advice
Business Aspects – marketing, pricing
Questions

DURATION – 3-hour learning

CERTIFICATION – ABT and OCN Accredited and CPD approved certificate issued after course completion.

Online e-learning for the theory must be completed before you can proceed to the in-person practical training.

Please note if registering as a clinic with multiple practitioners, each individual person will need their own account for certification purposes.

Once you have created your account, you will receive an activation link by email. Once the link is activated – you are ready to go! (This link must be activated within 48 hours).

Once logged in, click on course catalogue, and find the course you are looking to complete & purchase this course (Cryosurgery with CryoPen – theory).

You can stop and start the course as many times as you wish and will have ongoing access to the material so you can refer to in the future.

Please note that you will need to arrange a model for your practical session.

A certificate is issued once you are signed off for your training, emailed and posted to you.

Kim Jay -

Kim is an experienced, results-driven Skincare professional with over 30 years of experience in the beauty and aesthetic industry.

Providing exclusive skincare therapies and personalized treatment plans to suit the individual needs of her clients.

Before becoming an educator, Kim ran her own Beauty and Aesthetics salon for 9 years.

"Kim's passion has always been skin and believes in giving a personalized approach to achieve the very best results".

Jo Hammond -

Jo Hammond has been qualified for 35 years and in that time has worked with clinics and as an educator.

In 1996, after working in clinics, Jo embarked on her teacher training qualification and worked at Chichester College for 10 years.

Vicki Hexter -

Vicki Hexter has been working in her own clinic since 1996 offering people skincare treatments from her base in Ilford.

As a level 6 qualified aesthetician and with over 30 years experience in the industry, Vicki wanted to share her knowledge and started teaching with us at Ivanmed.

Training clinicians on Dermapen, CryoPen, and MELINE skin peels.

Vicki has been working closely with the Inno MELINE range, both in her own clinic and in a teaching capacity, with great results on both areas.

Ayesha Iqbal -

Ayesha is a Dedicated Registered Aesthetic Nurse specializing in Emergency Medicine, skin procedures, and a passion for teaching.

Ru Boyle -

For the last thirty years, she has been working in a number of dental practices.

Since 2019 she has been working in the aesthetic facial industry and in 2020 she has established her own clinic.

She has been teaching practitioner for the past 10 years.

She joined Ivanmed 3 years ago training clinicians in Northern England on microneedling, CryoPen, and Juliette Armand skincare.
